A Novel International Endoscopic Sphenoid Surgery Classification (IESSC): A Delphi Consensus

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Advancements in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery created a need for standardized terminology to describe sphenoid sinus surgery. Although classification systems exist for other sinuses, one for endoscopic sphenoid sinus surgery is lacking.

Fast Sodium Ion Conductivity in Pristine Na8SnP4 – Synthesis, Structure and Properties of the two Polymorphs LT‐ Na8SnP4 and HT‐Na8SnP4

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Achieving high ionic conductivities in solid state electrolytes is crucial for the development of efficient all‐solid‐state‐batteries. Considering future availability and sustainability, sodium materials hold promises for an alternative for lithium materials in all‐solid‐state batteries, due to the higher abundance. Here we report on a sodium phosphide

NIR‐Sensitized Activated Formation of Lophyl Radicals by Heptamethine Cyanines Enables Dry Film Photoresists

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
High‐intensity NIR radiation around 800 nm enables the manufacture of dry film resists (DFRs) using a combination of hexa‐arylbisimidazole (HABI) and N‐phenyl imino acetic acid. The mechanism is based on activated electron transfer processes supported by the respective product analysis.
