A Tale of Appendages: Investigating Limb and Tail Variation in Salamanders
Integrative Zoology, EarlyView.We analyzed limb and tail proportions in 44% of known salamander species using a phylogenetic comparative approach. Our results revealed significant variation among families and ecological groups, with aquatic species showing longer limbs and basal lineages having shorter tails.

It's Complicated: How Sex, Family, and Season Affect Growth of a Sexually Size Dimorphic Spider
Integrative Zoology, EarlyView.Extreme female‐biased sexual size dimorphism (SSD) in Nephilingis cruentata emerges when male and female growth trajectories diverge mid‐development. Seasonal effects influence both sexes similarly, but family effects are strongly sex‐specific. These patterns identify a critical developmental window for mechanistic studies of SSD.
