Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Conceptual Modelling and The Quality of Ontologies: Endurantism Vs. Perdurantism
Ontologies are key enablers for sharing precise and machine-understandable semantics among different applications and parties. Yet, for ontologies to meet these expectations, their quality must be of a good standard.

Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

Searching biomedical ontologies based on content [PDF]
As more ontologies become publicly available, finding the 'right' ontologies becomes much harder. In this paper, we introduce a new ontology search technique which is based on corpus analysis.

dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Higher-order Representation and Reasoning for Automated Ontology Evolution [PDF]
: The GALILEO system aims at realising automated ontology evolution. This is necessary to enable intelligent agents to manipulate their own knowledge autonomously and thus reason and communicate effectively in open, dynamic digital environments ...

Linking Open Descriptions of Social Events (LODSE): A New Ontology for Social Event Classification
The digital era has brought a number of significant changes in the world of communications. Although technological evolution has allowed the creation of new social event platforms to disclose events, it is still difficult to know what is happening around
