Spin‐Torque Memristors Based on Perpendicular Magnetic Tunnel Junctions for Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 8, Issue 10, May 19, 2021., 2021
Nanoscale spin memristors are realized based on magnetic tunnel junctions with large tunneling magnetoresistance ratio. Strong domain wall pinning effects in the free layer with an atom‐thick tungsten insertion is shown to be the origin of the memristive behavior. Spike‐timing‐dependent plasticity of the device is studied.
