Phenomenological description of the nonlocal magnetization relaxation in magnonics, spintronics, and domain-wall dynamics [PDF]
A phenomenological equation called Landau-Lifshitz-Baryakhtar (LLBar) equation, which could be viewed as the combination of Landau-Lifshitz (LL) equation and an extra "exchange damping" term, was derived by Baryakhtar using Onsager's relations.

Tuneable Vertical Hysteresis Loop Shift in Exchange Coupled La0.67Sr0.33MnO3‐SrRuO3 Bilayer
A simple method of obtaining a tuneable vertical magnetic hysteresis loop shift is demonstrated in a magnetic bilayer system. The proposed generalized model of controllable vertical shift is also applicable for other material systems possessing glassy phases, uncompensated/canted spins, absent interfacial exchange coupling, etc.

Anisotropic magnetoresistance and anisotropic tunneling magnetoresistance due to quantum interference in ferromagnetic metal break junctions [PDF]
We measure the low-temperature resistance of permalloy break junctions as a function of contact size and the magnetic field angle, in applied fields large enough to saturate the magnetization.

Proposal for a standard problem for micromagnetic simulations including spin-transfer torque [PDF]
The spin-transfer torque between itinerant electrons and the magnetization in a ferromagnet is of fundamental interest for the applied physics community. To investigate the spin-transfer torque, powerful simulation tools are mandatory.

Off-centered immobile magnetic vortex under influence of spin-transfer torque
Equilibrium magnetization distribution of the vortex state magnetic nanoparticle is affected by the influence of the spin-transfer torque: an off-center out--of--plane vortex appears in the case of the disk shape particle and pure planar vortex in the ...
