Mechanism‐Informed Machine Learning Enables Discovery of Oncolytic Peptides for Cancer Immunotherapy
Advanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.MISPOP integrates ensemble learning with membrane‐active physicochemical priors to identify Dermaseptin‐S9, a natural oncolytic peptide that disrupts tumor membranes, triggers immunogenic cell death, and shows strong antitumor activity. The study illustrates a mechanism‐informed route from peptide sequence data to cancer immunotherapy leads.

Lectotypifications and taxonomic changes in the holoparasitic Orobanchaceae
Nordic Journal of Botany, Volume 2026, Issue 8, August 2026.Based on further extensive studies of specimens in various herbaria, lectotypes are designated for many taxa of holoparasitic Orobanchaceae. Beyond Brunhild: reassessing women in the Fredegar Chronicle
Early Medieval Europe, Volume 34, Issue 3, Page 458-479, August 2026.Scholarly consideration of women in the seventh‐century Fredegar chronicle has long been dominated by the author’s hostility towards Brunhild, queen of Austrasia. Statistical analysis of Latin world chronicles before ad 900, however, shows that Fredegar’s representation of women was unusually high within this tradition.
