Fast design optimization of UWB antenna with WLAN Band-Notch [PDF]
In this paper, a methodology for rapid design optimization of an ultra-wideband ( UWB) monopole antenna with a lower WLAN band-notch is presented. The band-notch is realized using an open loop resonator implemented in the radiation patch of the antenna ...

An Autonomous Frequency Reconfigurable Antenna Using Slotline Open-Loop Resonators [PDF]
This paper presents a slotline open-loop resonators based frequency reconfigurable antenna with autonomous switching of frequency bands. The dual-port slot antenna is designed to operate at 2.1 GHz when excited at port-1, and when port-2 is excited, the antenna can be reconfigured to operate at 2.85 GHz and 5.52 GHz, respectively.

Design of High Performance Microstrip Dual-Band Bandpass Filter [PDF]
This paper presents a new design of dual-band bandpass filters using coupled stepped-impedance resonators for wireless systems. This architecture uses multiple couple stubs to tune the passband frequencies and the filter characteristics are improved ...

Compact Dual-Mode Open Loop Microstrip Resonators and Filters [PDF]
A novel compact microstrip dual-mode resonator and filter are proposed. The characteristics of the dual mode resonator are investigated. It is found that the filter response exhibits a desirable stopband response where the first spurious passband naturally occurs at 3f0. Finally, methods of miniaturizing such resonators and filters are discussed.

Exploring Mode Hopping Performance of a Prism Laser Gyro
In view of the poor mode hopping performance of prism laser gyros, the mode hopping performance of a prism laser gyro is systematically studied. A mathematical model of frequency stabilization actuating mechanism is established, and the mode hopping is ...
