Energy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.(1)Compared with injecting CO2, injecting N2 has a shorter penetration time, but the CH4 flow rate takes longer to stabilize, meaning the displacement process lasts longer. (2)The flow rate of CH4 rapidly decreases and gradually approaches 0; the flow rates of N2 and CO2 are 0 before breakthrough, then increase rapidly and eventually stabilize.
