Robust Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution Over a Conjugated Metal‐Organic Framework Heterojunction
We report a conjugated coordination polymer, Cd‐TMT (TMT = 1,3,5‐trimercaptotriazine), featuring an intrinsic molecular‐level charge transport network. The conjugated TMT ligands facilitate strong intra‐ligand charge transfer, while their ordered π‐π stacking along the [111] direction establishes a continuous pathway for directional electron migration,

Design methods for open pit coal mine footwalls
Special design methods are required for footwalls due to the inability to detect problem geometries (rolls, cross faults, pinchout) prior to mining. Application of new analytical methods to different failure modes is discussed together with aspects of monitoring, geometry detection and mitigation.

Pollutant emission from fires at open-pit coal mines
Abstract Existing coal mining technologies are associated with significant pollution of the natural environment, especially atmospheric air. On top of this, in the event of an emergency related to the spontaneous combustion of coal, this negative impact significantly increases.

Abstract Premise The Chicxulub asteroid impact at the Cretaceous–Paleogene (K–Pg) boundary triggered a mass extinction 66 million years ago. Ferns thrived in the aftermath of the extinction, evidenced by the well‐documented “fern spore spike.” However, fern macrofossil records across the K–Pg boundary are less understood.
