Flexible IMU Sensor Array For 3D Colonoscope Shape Reconstruction and AI‐Based Loop Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We propose a sensing platform for 3D visualization of the colonoscope combined with artificial intelligence (AI)‐based loop detection. The system consists of an array of 15 inertial measurement units (IMUs) mounted on a flexible printed circuit board that can be retrofitted into the instrument channel of conventional colonoscopes.

Lateral Profile of Doping Concentration Extracted From the C‐V Characteristics in Self‐Aligned Top‐Gate Coplanar InGaZnO Thin‐Film Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
For self‐aligned top‐gate amorphous InGaZnO thin‐film transistors (TFTs), a capacitance‐voltage‐based extraction technique that directly reconstructs a lateral doping profile and key parameters is proposed. The extracted profiles are validated by direct comparison with the transfer‐length method.

Machine Learning‐Driven Digital Twin of a Field‐Effect Transistor‐Based Hormone Biosensor for Real‐Time Estradiol Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐driven digital twin simulates an aptamer‐functionalized BioFET measuring 17β‐estradiol. Real‐time Isd signals are processed, features are extracted, and trained models estimate hormone concentration. In parallel, a one‐step‐ahead forward model learns biosensor dynamics and generates realistic synthetic signals, enabling in silico ...

Input Sparsity‐Aware Computing‐In‐Memory with Bidirectional Conversion‐Skippable Analog‐to‐Digital Converter

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article introduces an input sparsity‐aware computing‐in‐memory macro featuring novel bidirectional conversion‐skippable analog‐to‐digital converters. By dynamically adjusting resolution based on element‐level sparsity, the architecture skips redundant most significant bit and least significant bit conversions.
