THE OPEN CLUSTER CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND MAPPING SURVEY: LOCAL GALACTIC METALLICITY GRADIENT WITH APOGEE USING SDSS DR10 [PDF]
The Open Cluster Chemical Analysis and Mapping (OCCAM) survey aims to produce a comprehensive, uniform, infrared-based data set for hundreds of open clusters, and constrain key Galactic dynamical and chemical parameters from this sample.

On the metallicity of open clusters [PDF]
Metallicity is one of four free parameters typically considered when fitting isochrones to the cluster sequence. Unfortunately, this parameter is often ignored or assumed to be solar in most papers. Hence an unknown bias is introduced in the estimation of the other three cluster parameters (age, reddening and distance).

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...

Sejong Open Cluster Survey (SOS). 0. Target Selection And Data Analysis [PDF]
Star clusters are superb astrophysical laboratories containing cospatial and coeval samples of stars with similar chemical composition. We initiate the Sejong Open cluster Survey (SOS) - a project dedicated to providing homogeneous photometry of a large ...

Exposure to common noxious agents (1), including allergens, pollutants, and micro‐nanoplastics, can cause epithelial barrier damage (2) in our body's protective linings. This may trigger an immune response to our microbiome (3). The epithelial barrier theory explains how this process can lead to chronic noncommunicable diseases (4) affecting organs ...

HD 285507b: AN ECCENTRIC HOT JUPITER IN THE HYADES OPEN CLUSTER [PDF]
We report the discovery of the first hot Jupiter in the Hyades open cluster. HD 285507b orbits a V = 10.47 K4.5V dwarf (M* = 0.734 M☉; R* = 0.656 R☉) in a slightly eccentric () orbit with a period of days.

Rotational velocities and spectral types have been determined for Be stars in 12 open clusters in both the northern and the southern sky, and color-magnitude or H-R diagrams constructed for each from available photometric data. The location of the Be stars in the color-magnitude diagrams shows again that Be stars may exist in various evolutionary ...
