Red Clump stars in Kepler open cluster NGC 6819
We measure the large frequency separation, Δν, and the frequency of maximum amplitude, νmax, for 10 Red Clump (RC) single member (SM) stars in the Kepler open cluster NGC 6819. We derive luminosities and masses for each individual RC star.

NGC 6994: an open cluster which is not an open cluster
We report on CCD photometry in the Johnson B,V and I passbands for 146 stars in a 9' \times 9' region around the southern aggregate NGC 6994 (C 2056-128), which appears in the Lynga (1987) catalogue of open star clusters. We argue that this object is not really an open cluster, but simply a random enhancement of four bright stars above the background ...

The Fundamental Plane of Open Clusters [PDF]
Abstract We utilize the data from the Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment-2 in the fourteenth data release of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey to calculate the line-of-sight velocity dispersion σ 1D of a sample of old open clusters (aged older than 100 Myr) selected from the Milky Way open cluster catalog

Circulating histones as clinical biomarkers in critically ill conditions
Circulating histones are emerging as promising biomarkers in critical illness due to their diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential. Detection methods such as ELISA and mass spectrometry provide reliable approaches for quantifying histone levels in plasma samples.

Long-term investigation of an open cluster Berkeley 65
We present a decade-long investigation of a poorly studied cluster, Berkeley 65 (Be 65), using deep optical data from the telescopes of ARIES, Nainital Observatory.

Multicolor CCD Photometry of the Open Cluster IC 361
CCD photometry in the eight-color Vilnius + I system for 7250 stars down to I =19.6 mag has been obtained in the 20′ × 26′ field of the open cluster IC 361 in Camelopardalis. The catalog of 1420 stars down to V ~ 18.5 mag is presented.

Pulsatin stars in open clusters [PDF]
We report studies that are carried out with the aim of searching for and studying short-period variable stars in northern open clusters. The background for these studies is described along with the results that have been obtained up to now.

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...

The open cluster Berkeley 53 [PDF]
AbstractWe present a photometric study of the neglected open cluster Berkeley 53. We derived its fundamental parameters, such as the age, the interstellar reddening, and the distance from the Sun, based on BV photometry combined with near‐infrared JHKS data.
