Multicolor CCD Photometry of the Open Cluster IC 361
CCD photometry in the eight-color Vilnius + I system for 7250 stars down to I =19.6 mag has been obtained in the 20′ × 26′ field of the open cluster IC 361 in Camelopardalis. The catalog of 1420 stars down to V ~ 18.5 mag is presented.

Spectroscopic Study of the Open Cluster NGC 6811 [PDF]
The NASA space telescope Kepler has provided unprecedented time-series observations which have revolutionised the field of asteroseismology, i.e. the use of stellar oscillations to probe the interior of stars.

Long-term investigation of an open cluster Berkeley 65
We present a decade-long investigation of a poorly studied cluster, Berkeley 65 (Be 65), using deep optical data from the telescopes of ARIES, Nainital Observatory.

The Monitor Project: stellar rotation at 13 Myr - I. A photometric monitoring survey of the young open cluster h Persei [PDF]
We aim at constraining the angular momentum evolution of low mass stars by measuring their rotation rates when they begin to evolve freely towards the ZAMS, i.e. after the disk accretion phase has stopped. We conducted a multi-site photometric monitoring

Sliding Guide System Concept for 3D Motion of the Hip Joint in Walking Assist Robots
The human hip joint has three degrees of freedom: flexion and extension, abduction and adduction, and external rotation and internal rotation. However, most current walking assist robots only support flexion–extension of the hip joint and may restrict ...

Red Clump stars in Kepler open cluster NGC 6819
We measure the large frequency separation, Δν, and the frequency of maximum amplitude, νmax, for 10 Red Clump (RC) single member (SM) stars in the Kepler open cluster NGC 6819. We derive luminosities and masses for each individual RC star.

THE OPEN CLUSTER CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND MAPPING SURVEY: LOCAL GALACTIC METALLICITY GRADIENT WITH APOGEE USING SDSS DR10 [PDF]
The Open Cluster Chemical Analysis and Mapping (OCCAM) survey aims to produce a comprehensive, uniform, infrared-based data set for hundreds of open clusters, and constrain key Galactic dynamical and chemical parameters from this sample.

HD 285507b: AN ECCENTRIC HOT JUPITER IN THE HYADES OPEN CLUSTER [PDF]
We report the discovery of the first hot Jupiter in the Hyades open cluster. HD 285507b orbits a V = 10.47 K4.5V dwarf (M* = 0.734 M☉; R* = 0.656 R☉) in a slightly eccentric () orbit with a period of days.

Sejong Open Cluster Survey (SOS). 0. Target Selection And Data Analysis [PDF]
Star clusters are superb astrophysical laboratories containing cospatial and coeval samples of stars with similar chemical composition. We initiate the Sejong Open cluster Survey (SOS) - a project dedicated to providing homogeneous photometry of a large ...
