Using the concept of pre-open set, we introduce and study topological properties of pre-limit points, pre-derived sets, preinterior and pre-closure of a set, pre-interior points, pre-border, prefrontier and pre-exterior. The relations between pre-derived

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Some Modifications of Pairwise Soft Sets and Some of Their Related Concepts
In this paper, we first define soft u-open sets and soft s-open as two new classes of soft sets on soft bitopological spaces. We show that the class of soft p-open sets lies strictly between these classes, and we give several sufficient conditions for ...

Sunflowers of convex open sets
A sunflower is a collection of sets $\{U_1,\ldots, U_n\}$ such that the pairwise intersection $U_i\cap U_j$ is the same for all choices of distinct $i$ and $j$. We study sunflowers of convex open sets in $\mathbb R^d$, and provide a Helly-type theorem describing a certain "rigidity" that they possess. In particular we show that if $\{U_1,\ldots, U_{d+1}

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

ROTATION SETS OF OPEN BILLIARDS
We investigate the rotation sets of open billiards in for the natural observable related to a starting point of a given billiard trajectory. We prove that the general rotation set is convex and the set of all convex combinations of rotation vectors of periodic trajectory is dense in it.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.
