Local spectral theory of endomorphisms of the disk algebra
Let A(š») denote the disk algebra. Every endomorphism of A(š») is induced by some Ļ ā A(š») with āĻā ⤠1. In this paper, it is shown that if Ļ is not an automorphism of š» and Ļ has a fixed point in the open unit disk then the endomorphism induced by Ļ is ...

LIPSCHITZ CONTINUITY OF THE DISTANCE RATIO METRIC ON THE UNIT DISK
For maps of analytic functions f : D ā D; f(0) = a ā D, we prove their Lipschitz continuity regarding the distance ratio metric with a Lipschitz constant C depending only on a. Question of the best possible C = C(a) remains open.

Wearable Haptic Feedback Interfaces for Augmenting Human Touch
The wearable haptic feedback interfaces enhance user experience in gaming, social media, biomedical instrumentation, and robotics by generating tactile sensations. This review discusses and categorizes current haptic feedback interfaces into force, thermal, and electrotactile stimulationābased haptic feedback interfaces, elucidating their current ...

The Relationships Between pāvalent Functions and Univalent Functions
In this paper, we obtain some sufficient conditions for general pāvalent integral operators to be the pāth power of a univalent functions in the open unit disk.

Aspirināliposomes loaded onto monocytes enable inflammationātriggered targeting and efficient handāover of aspirin to inflamed cells. Monocytes uptake a significant portion of aspirināliposomes, prolonging therapeutic action. This approach enhances antiāinflammatory effects through intercellular transfer, demonstrating a translational strategy for ...

A novel, high tensile modulus, fully aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline polyimide (LCPI) with better solvent resistance and thermal stability is synthesized. Tensile specimens are fabricated using both injection molding and FFF processes, accomplished via lower viscosity enabled by the LC phase.

Point Set Isolation Using Unit Disks is NP-complete [PDF]
We consider the situation where one is given a set S of points in the plane and a collection D of unit disks embedded in the plane. We show that finding a minimum cardinality subset of D such that any path between any two points in S is intersected by at least one disk is NP-complete. This settles an open problem raised by Matt Gibson et al[1]. Using a

On quasiconformal self-mappings of the unit disk satisfying Poissonās equation
Let QC(K, g) be a family of K-quasiconformal mappings of the open unit disk onto itself satisfying the PDE Īw = g, g ā C(U), w(0) = 0. It is proved that QC(K,g) is a uniformly Lipschitz family.

Harnessing Outer Space for Improved Electrocaloric Cooling
A novel radiative heat sink/sourceāintegrated electrocaloric (RāiEC) system combines the electrocaloric (EC) effect with a thermally conductive radiative cooler (TCRC) to address heat dissipation limitations in EC devices. Utilizing outer space as a heat sink, the system achieves up to 240Ā WĀ mā2 of heat dissipation performance, making it highly ...

Kudriasov Type Univalence Criteria for Some Integral Operators
We consider some integral operators defined by analytic functions in the open unit disk and derive new univalence criteria for these operators, using Kudriasov condition for a function to be univalent.
