1‐D Collocated Dual‐Gradient Sensory Fibers for Comprehensive Sensing and Decoding of Complex Human Motion and Physiology

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Coupled materials design enables a monolithic fiber that integrates complementary sensing regimes into a single wearable strand. By preserving informative signal features across subtle physiological deformation, large body motion, and mixed mechanical inputs, the dual‐gradient architecture generates synchronized, less redundant outputs that improve ...

Subordination and Superordination for Multivalent Functions Associated with the Dziok-Srivastava Operator

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2011
Subordination and superordination preserving properties for multivalent functions in the open unit disk associated with the Dziok-Srivastava operator are derived. Sandwich-type theorems for these multivalent functions are also obtained.

Bioinspired Adaptive Surfaces for Intelligent Liquid Manipulation: Progressing From Passive and Active to Hybrid Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines passive, active, and hybrid liquid manipulation strategies, highlighting hybrid approaches as an emerging route to reconcile energy efficiency with adaptive control. By actively reconstructing passive surfaces to store programmable interfacial energy, hybrid systems enable flexible yet low‐power liquid transport, with perspectives ...

From Fiber Bundles to Architected Membranes: Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Architectures for Biohybrid Artificial Lungs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Additively manufactured triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) membranes offer an architecture‐driven alternative to hollow fiber bundles in artificial lungs. Multiphysics simulations and endothelialized prototypes show that the 3D‐printable membrane architecture improves gas exchange, blood flow distribution, and hemocompatibility, enabling ...

Sharpness Estimation of Hankel Determinants and Logarithmic Coefficients for a Family of Analytic Functions Related to a Lung-Shaped Domain

open access: yesMathematics
This investigation introduces a novel family of univalent analytic functions subordinate to lung-shaped domains within the open unit disk. Through rigorous application of subordination theory and systematic analysis, we establish coefficient bounds for ...

Spatial Control of Light‐Responsive Proteins and Optogenetics Within Hydrogels via Volumetric Bioprinting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Spatiotemporal control over cell behavior within bioprinted constructs remains a key challenge in biofabrication. Volumetric bioprinting using multi‐wavelength light sources permits to activate light‐sensitive intracellular proteins as well as optogenetic gene and protein expression circuits in bioprinted cells, in addition to enabling fast printing of

The right invariant metric on the analytic automorphism group of the unit open disk induced by maximal modulus

open access: yes
In this paper, we study the right invariant metric dH∞ on the analytic automorphism group Aut(D) of the unit open disk D induced by maximal modulus, that is, dH∞(φ,ψ) = sup|φ(z) − ψ(z)| for any φ,ψ ∈ Aut(D). We give the explicit formula of the right invariant metric dH∞ and characterize the almost regular Finsler geometric structure of (Aut(D), dH∞).
