OPENET: Ontology-based engine for high-level Petri nets

Expert Systems with Applications, 2010
In this paper, OPENET, an engine for the execution of high-level Petri nets (HLPNs) is presented. OPENET is based on an ontology that represents the knowledge of the ISO/IEC 15909-1 standard and, respectively, describes semantically and declaratively both the static structure and the dynamic behavior of HLPNs.

OPENET: an open and efficient control platform for ATM networks

Proceedings. IEEE INFOCOM '98, the Conference on Computer Communications. Seventeenth Annual Joint Conference of the IEEE Computer and Communications Societies. Gateway to the 21st Century (Cat. No.98CH36169), 2002
ATM networks are moving to a state where large production networks are deployed and require a universal, open and efficient ATM network control platform (NCP). The emerging PNNI (Private Network to Network Interface) standard introduces an internetworking architecture which can also be used as an intranetwork interface.

OPENET LD: An Ontology-Based Petri Net Engine to Execute IMS LD Units of Learning

2009 Ninth IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies, 2009
In this paper an ontology-based Petri net engine to execute units of learning based on the IMS Learning Design(IMS LD) specification is presented. This engine has a layered architecture that enables the execution of IMS LD learning flows by means of high-level Petri nets representing the semantics of the IMS LD dynamic elements.

OPENET: an open and efficient control platform for ATM networks[1]This work was performed in and sponsored by Sun Microsystems Labs.

Journal of High Speed Networks, 1999
ATM networks are currently moving from the experimental stage of test‐beds to a commercial state where production networks are deployed and operated. The ATM Forum PNNI (Private Network to Network Interface) standard introduces an architecture suited for an internetwork which, in principle, can also be used as an intra‐network nodal interface. However,

Intercomparison of OpenET to Legacy Crop Coefficient Evapotranspiration Estimates for Determining Consumptive Use in Utah

The State of Utah currently uses several methods and datasets to determine reference and crop evapotranspiration (ET), creating inconsistencies in water use estimation and planning. Recent satellite-based actual ET (ETa) estimates produced by OpenET provide an opportunity for more consistent ET and consumptive use estimation throughout Utah ...
