Towards Causal Consistent Updates in Software-Defined Networks

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
A network paradigm called the Software-Defined Network (SDN) has recently been introduced. The idea of SDN is to separate the control logic from forwarding devices to enable a centralized control platform.

Synthetic Seismic Data Generation for Deep Learning Segmentation of Clinoforms: Integrating Process‐Based Forward Stratigraphic Modelling and Ray‐Based Seismic Modelling

open access: yesBasin Research, Volume 38, Issue 4, July–August 2026.
This study aims to develop a deep learning model for automated clinoform segmentation. The trained model achieved high segmentation performance on a synthetic testing dataset and successfully generalised to real seismic profiles. The proposed approach demonstrates the effectiveness of using forward stratigraphic modelling and point spread function for ...

Design and Evaluation of a Proxy-Based Monitoring System for OpenFlow Networks

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2016
Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has attracted attention along with the popularization of cloud environment and server virtualization. In SDN, the control plane and the data plane are decoupled so that the logical topology and routing control can be ...

Structural modification of functionalized carbazoles: from Z′ = 1 to Z′ = 6

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section B, Volume 82, Issue 3, Page 339-343, June 2026.
The crystal structure of a 2,3,9,9a‐tetrahydro‐1H‐carbazole in the space group Ia is reported, showing Z′ = 6 and approximate Fdd2 symmetry, and compared to the low Z′ crystal structures of two closely related congeners.Crystal structures with asymmetric units comprising large numbers of molecules (Z′ > 4) remain rare.

Efficient lookup method of OpenFlow table based on predictive caching [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2019
There are serious performance bottlenecks of flow table lookups as OpenFlow supports wildcard search. Therefore,a lookup method of OpenFlow table is proposed based on network traffic locality.By caching recent frequent connections in packet traffic and ...

A Review of Software for Designing and Operating Quantum Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
A quantum network can be organized following a three‐plane abstraction: infrastructure, logical, and control. A taxonomy of the network functions of the control plane is proposed, and the state of the art in software for quantum networks is discussed. A guide for future directions on software development is provided.
