Thermo‐Hydrodynamic Processes of Microparticles in Fractures: A CFD–DEM Approach
ABSTRACT Controlling fracture permeability plays a critical role in subsurface energy applications, particularly in geothermal energy production and enhanced carbon sequestration, where regulating fluid flow is essential. The use of microcapsules has become a promising solution to enhance fracture permeability by providing a controlled sealing ...

OpenFOAM reduced channel modeling análisis
Introduction: The article is a product of the research “Analysis of open channel models with reduction in Openfoam” developed at Universidad Santo Tomás in 2022 integrating computational fluid dynamics (cfd), in an open channel with reduction of multiphase, isotropic, isothermal, turbulent and steady state flow. Problem: Drinking water supply requires

Vibrational Exfoliation of 2D Materials
Vibrational energy folds, fractures and exfoliates atomically and molecularly thin materials. Combining experimentation and computational methods, this unique vibrational synthesis pathway is revealed. This process overcomes barriers of existing approaches by processing 1000 g/L dispersions without loss in yield.

Molecular dynamics in arbitrary geometries : parallel evaluation of pair forces [PDF]
A new algorithm for calculating intermolecular pair forces in molecular dynamics (MD) simulations on a distributed parallel computer is presented. The arbitrary interacting cells algorithm (AICA) is designed to operate on geometrical domains defined by ...

Abstract The migratory behaviour of Atlantic salmon kelts is poorly understood. Due to the Atlantic salmon's considerable socio‐economic and ecological importance, their precipitous population abundance declines, and the population resilience potential of salmon kelts, addressing these knowledge gaps is important.
