Uncertainty calculation in (operational) modal analysis
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 2007In (operational) modal analysis the modal parameters of a structure are identified from the response of that structure to (unmeasurable operational) perturbations. A key issue that remains to be solved is the calculation of uncertainty bounds on the estimated modal parameters. The present paper fills this gap.

Special issue on Operational Modal Analysis
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 2010Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) is not really a new discipline; it has been present from the very beginning of the development of modal testing and analysis going back to the sixties and early seventies.

Fully automated (operational) modal analysis
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 2012Abstract Modal parameter estimation requires a lot of user interaction, especially when parametric system identification methods are used and the modes are selected in a stabilization diagram. In this paper, a fully automated, generally applicable three-stage clustering approach is developed for interpreting such a diagram.

Covariance regression for operational modal analysis
Journal of Vibration and Control, 2021This article proposes a covariance regression procedure for operational modal analysis. The whole work is mainly twofold. On the one hand, two identities on the covariance are presented and they reveal that the covariance at different times is linearly dependent through both scalar and matrix coefficients.

Modal scaling in operational modal analysis using a finite element model
International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, 2013Abstract Operational modal analysis (OMA) is a technique that has been widely used on civil and mechanical structures in the last 10 years. As the force is unknown, mode shapes cannot be mass normalized from the responses used for modal identification.

Operational Modal Analysis for Automobile
2012This paper presents the method of operational modal analysis, which is the identification of modal parameters by only using the response signals under operational conditions or ambient excitations. Giving the actual road spectrum as ambient excitations on vibration table, the operational modal analysis for automobile was conducted by test.
