Modal Appropriation for Use with In-Operation Modal Analysis [PDF]
We propose in this paper a numerical modal appropriation method for use with in-operation modal analysis (INOPMA). The key idea is to realize that the correlation sequence of the system output is the sum of decaying sinusoids with a certain phase shift and therefore it may be considered as an impulse response.

Modal analysis techniques are considered as the most used of techniques allowing the characterization of the dynamic behaviour in systems such as planetary gear transmission. During operational conditions, the modal behaviour can be altered.

Modal Analysis Using Operating Modal Identification Method
AbstractSometimes it is very difficult for some large scale operating structures to measure the input forces. Modal parameters must be estimated on response only. A poly-reference time domain operating modal identification complex exponential method is presented since cross-correlation functions have the same form as impulse response functions.

Operational modal analysis of road-rail bridge
In this paper, we describe an Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) of the Bridge over the Tocantins River, a composite road-rail bridge located in the city of Marabá, state of Pará, northern Brazil. The bridge is part of the Carajás Railway, which is used by

Operational Modal Analysis of the Cablestayed Footbridge
Modern architecture leads to design subtle bridge structures that are more sensitive to increased dynamic loading than the massive ones. This phenomenon can be especially observed on lightweight steel structures such as suspended footbridges. As a result,

Estimation of natural frequencies of the laboratory truss structure with output only subspace and frequency-domain techniques [PDF]
Non-destructive methods of structural testing are preferred to identify their current state because they do not damage the structure. Modal analysis is one of these methods that can be used for a comprehensive assessment of structural measurements.

Transmissibilty-Based Operational Modal Analysis for Flight Flutter Testing Using Exogenous Inputs
During the recent years several new tools have been introduced by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the field of Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) such as the transmissibility based approach and the the frequency-domain OMAX concept.
