Index, eta and rho-invariants on foliated bundles [PDF]
We study primary and secondary invariants of leafwise Dirac operators on foliated bundles. Given such an operator, we begin by considering the associated regular self-adjoint operator $D_m$ on the maximal Connes-Skandalis Hilbert module and explain how ...

Most MmpLs transport lipids and glycolipids of the complex mycomembrane of mycobacteria. This study shows that MmpL10 from Mycobacterium smegmatis, the transporter of the trehalose polyphosphate precursor, harbors a coiled‐coil‐like extension. Biochemical and electron microscopy studies demonstrate that the coiled‐coil enables MmpL10 to trimerize.

Traditional operational calculus, while intuitive and effective in addressing problems in physical fractal spaces, often lacks the rigorous mathematical foundation needed for fractional operations, sometimes resulting in inconsistent outcomes. To address

Working with anticommuting Weyl(or Mayorana) spinors in the framework of the van der Waerden calculus is standard in supersymmetry. The natural frame for rigorous supersymmetric quantum field theory makes use of operator-valued superdistributions defined

A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

This study demonstrates that KRAS and GNAS mutations are more prevalent in patients with resected intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) compared to those under clinical surveillance. GNAS mutations significantly differ between the two patient cohorts, indicating that their absence may serve as a potential biomarker to support conservative ...

Loop-check elimination for non-transitive distributed knowledge logic
A non-transitive distributed knowledge logic TnD, obtained from multi-modal logic Tn by adding distributed knowledge operator, is considered. Sound and complete loop-check-free sequent calculus for this logic is proposed.

Spectral multiplier theorems and averaged R-boundedness [PDF]
Let $A$ be a $0$-sectorial operator with a bounded $H^\infty(\Sigma\_\sigma)$-calculus for some $\sigma \in (0,\pi),$ e.g. a Laplace type operator on $L^p(\Omega),\: 1 < p < \infty,$ where $\Omega$ is a manifold or a graph.

Full Abstraction for the Resource Lambda Calculus with Tests, through Taylor Expansion [PDF]
We study the semantics of a resource-sensitive extension of the lambda calculus in a canonical reflexive object of a category of sets and relations, a relational version of Scott's original model of the pure lambda calculus. This calculus is related to Boudol's resource calculus and is derived from Ehrhard and Regnier's differential extension of Linear
