Closure operators on hoops

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica
In this article, we study relationships between closure operators and hoops. We investigate the properties of closure operators and hoop-homomorphism on hoops. We show that the image of a closure operator on a hoop is isomorphic to a quotient hoop.

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

The Interpolative Ideal of Bloch Mappings

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces
Inspired by the interpolative ideal procedure for linear operators due to Matter, the concept of interpolative ideals of a Banach normalized Bloch ideal IB∧ is introduced.

Molecular characterisation of human penile carcinoma and generation of paired epithelial primary cell lines

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.

Operations on ideals and corresponding ideal topologies

open access: yesNovi Sad Journal of Mathematics, 2015
Summary: The concept of ideals on topological spaces is studied by Vaidyanathaswamy, Kuratowski, Noiri and many others. In this paper we discuss the relationship between the topologies generated by intersection and union of ideals on a topological space. We also prove some results on connected topologies in the context of ideal topological space.

Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Fuzzy Ideal Supra Topological Spaces

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, 2020
In this paper, we introduce the notion of fuzzy ideals in fuzzy supra topological spaces. The concept of a fuzzy s-local function is also introduced here by utilizing the s-neighbourhood structure for a fuzzy supra topological space.

Characterizations of ordered $h$-regular semirings by ordered $h$-ideals

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2020
The objective of this paper is to study the ordered $h$-regular semirings by the properties of their ordered $h$-ideals. It is proved that each $h$-regular ordered semiring is an ordered $h$-regular semiring but the converse does not follow.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
