Operator inequalities associated with Jensen’s inequality
We give a survey of various operator inequalities associated with Jensen’s inequality and study the class of operator convex functions of several variables.

Border harm and affective injustice: The politics of anger at the Melilla border, Spain
Abstract This article examines protests in a detention center in Melilla, Spain—a site where structural violence intersects with the everyday harms of confinement. Adopting a justice and dignity‐centered perspective, we analyze grassroots forms of resistance emerging at the border. The study focuses on the protests of Tunisian migrants and explores the

Inequalities and solution of an operator equation
The article deals with fixed points of an operator \(A:\overline{D} \to E\), where \(D\) is a bounded open convex set in a real Banach space \(E\), \(0 \in D\). It is assumed that \(I - A\) is a closed operator and \(\alpha(AD) < \alpha(D)\), where \(\alpha\) denotes the noncompact measure (such operators are called by the authors \textit{semi-closed \(

Jordan's Inequality: Refinements, Generalizations, Applications and Related Problems
This is an expository article. Some developments on refinements, generalizations, applications of Jordan’s inequality and related problems, including some estimates for three classes of complete elliptic integrals and several proofs of Wilker’s ...

In this paper we deal with Sherman’s inequality and its complementary inequalities for operator convex functions, whose arguments are the bounded self-adjoint operators from C* -algebra on a Hilbert space and positive linear mappings between C* -algebras.

Abstract This study employs a schizocartographic approach to explore community narratives of space, memory, and violence in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. Through participants' accounts, ordinary places—gardens, shops, blocks, sports grounds, and streets—emerge as ambivalent geographies where trauma, resilience, and belonging intersect.

Converses of the Cauchy-Schwartz Inequality in the C*-framework
In this paper, we present several multiplicative and additive converses of the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality in the framework of C*−algebra theory. Our results complement those obtained by M. Fujii, T.
