Extended Weyl-Type Theorems for Direct Sums
In this paper, we study the stability of extended Weyl and Browdertype theorems for orthogonal direct sum S⊕T, where S and T are bounded linear operators acting on Banach space.

Sequence spaces M ( ϕ ) $M(\phi)$ and N ( ϕ ) $N(\phi)$ with application in clustering
Distance measures play a central role in evolving the clustering technique. Due to the rich mathematical background and natural implementation of l p $l_{p}$ distance measures, researchers were motivated to use them in almost every clustering process ...

Epistemicism and modality [PDF]
What kind of semantics should someone who accepts the epistemicist theory of vagueness defended in Timothy Williamson’s Vagueness (1994) give a definiteness operator?

A Theory of Closure Operators [PDF]
We explore how fixed-point operators can be designed to interact and be composed to form autonomic control mechanisms. We depart from the idea that an operator is idempotent only for the states that it assures, and define a more general concept in which acceptable states are a superset of assurable states.

Operational theories as structural realism
We undertake a reconstruction of the epistemic significance of research on operational theories in quantum foundations. We suggest that the space of operational theories is analogous to the space of possible worlds employed in the possible world semantics for modal logic, so research of this sort can be understood as probing modal structure.

A FIELD THEORY FOR THE READ OPERATOR [PDF]
We introduce a new field theory for studying quantum Hall systems. The quantum field is a modified version of the bosonic operator introduced by Read. In contrast to Read's original work we do not work in the lowest Landau level alone, and this leads to a much simpler formalism.

The aim of this work is to give some fixed point results based on the technique of measure of noncompactness which extend the classical Darbo’s theorem.

The Wess-Zumino-Witten term in non-commutative two-dimensional fermion models [PDF]
We study the effective action associated to the Dirac operator in two dimensional non-commutative Field Theory. Starting from the axial anomaly, we compute the determinant of the Dirac operator and we find that even in the U(1) theory, a Wess-Zumino ...

Statistical weighted A-summability with application to Korovkin’s type approximation theorem
We introduce the notion of statistical weighted A-summability of a sequence and establish its relation with weighted A-statistical convergence. We also define weighted regular matrix and obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the matrix A to be ...

On the order of approximation by modified summation-integral-type operators based on two parameters
In this article, we the study generalized family of positive linear operators based on two parameters, which are a broad family of many well-known linear positive operators, e.g., Baskakov-Durrmeyer, Baskakov-Szász, Szász-Beta, Lupaş-Beta, Lupaş-Szász ...
