Compact Operators and Operators of Monotone Type

Springer Monographs in Mathematics, 2019
Compact maps constitute a class of maps to which we can extend many of the results which are valid for maps between finite-dimensional spaces. Compactness plays a central role in the infinite-dimensional extension of degree theory (Leray–Schauder degree, see Chap. 3) and in fixed point theory (see Chap. 4).

Korovkin-Type Theorems for Statistically Convergent Sequences of Monotone and Sublinear Operators

Bulletin of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society, 2023
The authors study the statistical convergence almost everywhere, in measure and in \(L^p\) in a Korovkin-type theorem for monotone and sublinear operators. The results are illustrated by a series of concrete examples.

A Degree for Operators of Monotone Type

Mathematische Nachrichten, 1983
The degreee of operators between such Banach spaces that form a dual system in the sense of Schaefer is defined, under a weak continuity hypothesis. The usual properties of the degree are derived for operators of monotone type and it is computed for coercive and monotone mappings.

Iterative construction of fixed points for multivalued operators of the monotone type

Applicable Analysis, 1986
The fixed points of set-valued operators satisfying a condition of monotonicity type in \(L_ p\) (or \(\ell_ p)\) spaces, \(p\geq 2\), are approximated by simple recursive averaging process.
