Operator Matrices on Banach Spaces

open access: yesOALib, 2020
Since nonlinear schur theorem was proposed, it broke the limitation of linear operator matrices. And in this paper we study the summability theory for a class of matrices of nonlinear mapping, and the characterizations of a class of infinite matrix transformations are obtained.

Weak Solutions for a Class of Nonlocal Singular Problems Over the Nehari Manifold

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a nonlocal model of dilatant non‐Newtonian fluid with a Dirichlet boundary condition. By using the Nehari manifold and fibering map methods, we obtain the existence of at least two weak solutions, with sign information.

Shape Derivatives of the Eigenvalues of the de Rham Complex for Lipschitz Deformations and Variable Coefficients: Part II

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this second part of our series of papers, we develop an abstract framework suitable for de Rham complexes that depend on a parameter belonging to an arbitrary Banach space. Our primary focus is on spectral perturbation problems and the differentiability of eigenvalues with respect to perturbations of the involved parameters. As a byproduct,

S-Mixing Tuple of Operators on Banach Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2016
We consider the question: what is the appropriate formulation of Godefroy-Shapiro criterion for tuples of operators? We also introduce a new notion about tuples of operators, S-mixing, which lies between mixing and weakly mixing.

Multiplication Operators on Weighted Banach Spaces of a Tree

open access: yes, 2015
We study multiplication operators on the weighted Banach spaces of an infinite tree. We characterize the bounded and the compact operators, as well as determine the operator norm.

Linear Toroidal‐Inertial Waves on A Differentially Rotating Sphere with Application to Helioseismology: Modeling, Forward and Inverse Problems

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper develops a mathematical framework for interpreting observations of solar inertial waves in an idealized setting. Under the assumption of purely toroidal linear waves on the sphere, the stream function of the flow satisfies a fourth‐order scalar equation.

UMD Banach spaces and square functions associated with heat semigroups for Schr\"odinger and Laguerre operators

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper we define square functions (also called Littlewood-Paley-Stein functions) associated with heat semigroups for Schr\"odinger and Laguerre operators acting on functions which take values in UMD Banach spaces.

Adjoint Operators on Banach Spaces

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, we report on new results related to the existence of an adjoint for operators on separable Banach spaces and discuss a few interesting applications. (Some results are new even for Hilbert spaces.) Our first two applications provide an extension of the Poincar inequality and the Stone-von Neumann version of the spectral theorem for a ...

Reduced‐Order Modeling of Energetic Materials Using Physics‐Aware Recurrent Convolutional Neural Networks in a Latent Space (LatentPARC)

open access: yesPropellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, EarlyView.
Physics‐Aware Recurrent Convolutional Neural Networks (PARC) can reliably learn the thermomechanics of energetic materials as a function of morphology. This work introduces LatentPARC, which accelerates PARC by modeling the dynamics in a low‐dimensional latent space.

Projective tensor products of approximation spaces associated with positive operators

open access: yesResearches in Mathematics
In this paper the projective tensor products of approximation spaces associated with positive operators in Banach spaces are characterized. We show that the tensor products of approximation spaces can be considered as the interpolation spaces generated ...
