In the spirit of interdependence of the different areas of CHI research, we present a description of OPOSSUM, a visualization tool inspired by concepts from heterogeneous databases. OPOSSUM is a tool for visualizing and editing structured data; we use it to view and modify objectoriented database schemas.

The karyotype of this species is similar to most didelphids with 22 chromosomes except Didelphis virginiana (Folio 51). The karyotypes presented here are gifts of Dr. Alfred L. Gardner, who collected the male specimen from Pacuare, Rio Pacuare, Prov. Cantago, Costa Rica and the female from Finca Ocuilapa, 10 km S.E. Tonala, Chiapas, Mexico. Bone marrow

AbstractThe placental membranes of the four‐eyed opossum were studied by light and electron microscopy. The individual fetuses in each uterus were surrounded by amnion, had allantoic sacs of approximately the same size as each fetus, and were situated in a common yolk sac cavity.
