Three new species of Oppiidae from Turkey (Acari: Oribatida)

Three new species of oribatid mites of the family Oppiidae Sellnick, 1937, Rhinoppia exobothridialis sp. nov., Rhinoppia emarginata sp. nov. and Oppiella (Perspicuoppia) turcica sp. nov. are described and illustrated based on adult specimens collected from Artvin Province, Turkey.

A new species of the genus Belloppia (Oribatida, Oppiidae) is described from New Zealand; Belloppia bella sp. nov. differs from all species of the genus by the presence of a distal row of clear barbs on the bothridial heads and the median part of the tripartite rostrum strongly protruding and distinctly longer than the lateral parts.

Two new species of Oppiidae are described, based on adults collected from Ethiopia. Arcoppia afroalpina Ermilov sp. nov. differs from its closely related species, A. arcualis arcualis by the morphology of the rostrum, the length and morphology of branches on the bothridial head, and the body size. Helioppia ethiopiaensis Ermilov sp. nov.
