We report a fully wireless, circuit‐free neural stimulator built on a millimetric magneto‐mechano‐electric (MME) cantilever transducer (3 × 10 × 5 mm) with a barium titanate (BTO) piezoelectric ceramic core. Under low‐frequency alternating magnetic fields, the MME cantilever mechanically oscillates, inducing stress on the BTO element and thereby ...

Photonic‐Enabled Energy‐Efficient Transparent Neuromorphic Computing Devices: A Review
Transparent photonic neuromorphic computing devices merge optics and brain‐inspired computing to overcome von Neumann bottlenecks with ultrafast, low‐energy processing. By exploiting transparent oxides, 2D materials, phase‐change materials, and hybrid heterostructures, these platforms enable photonic synapses, memory, and logic for see‐through edge ...

CCT2 Promotes Prostate Cancer Progression Through EIF3F‐Dependent Stabilization of FASN
ABSTRACT Prostate cancer (PCa) is increasingly recognized to be driven by dysregulated lipid metabolism. Although fatty acid synthase (FASN) is highly expressed in PCa, the mechanisms governing FASN protein stability and its functional integration into oncogenic lipid metabolism remain poorly defined.

An edible biohybrid platform triggers nanoplastics (NPs) aging and agglomeration by in situ generating hydroxyl radicals within the intestine. The enlarged NPs are unable to penetrate the intestine and are subsequently excreted. Simultaneously, probiotic biofilms reinforce the intestinal barrier.

Since Wiethe first described the clinical presentation of two optic disc depressions in a 62-year-old woman in 1882, there have been many studies addressing what later become known as the "optic disc pit." The main complication of this condition, termed optic disc pit maculopathy, is associated with visual deterioration.

Photocoagulation of Optic Disc Pits
Ophthalmologica, 20102 cases of optic disc pits complicated by macular edema are reported. In both cases, fluorescein angiography showed dye leakage from the disc into the edematous retina and was helpful in planning treatment. Laser coagulation limited to the leaking area led to prompt resorption of the subretinal fluid and to substantial improvement of vision.

Optic disc pit is a rare congenital anomaly first described in 1882 by Wiethe (1882). It is reported to have an incidence of 1 in 11,000 seen in an ophthalmic setting (Krivoy et al. 1996) and is unilateral in the majority of cases (Greear 1942; Lincoff et al. 1993) with no gender predilection. It is characterized by an excavation within the optic disc (

Multilayered Retinoschisis Associated with Optic Disc Pit
Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology, 2005Recently, optical coherence tomography (OCT) analysis has contributed greatly to the detection of posterior retinoschisis associated with optic disc pits. We report an unusual case of optic disc pit maculopathy.A 37-year-old woman with a multilayered structure of posterior retinoschisis associated with a very small, shallow optic disc pit was treated ...
