Management of double optic disc pit complicated by maculopathy
Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, 2020 Optic disc pit (ODP) is a rare, congenital, cavitary anomaly of the optic disc. Usually, single ODP occurs in an eye and only eleven cases of double ODP have been reported so far in the literature. In the present study, we report a case of unilateral double ODP, with both the pits present in opposite disc segments.

Bilateral Optic Disc Pit with Maculopathy Case Report
Czech and Slovak Ophthalmology, 2019 An optic disc pit is a rare congenital anomaly of the optic nerve disc. It occurs rarely, and in case of its bilateral occurance, it can be caused by an autosomal dominant inheritance pattern. Ophthalmoscopically, the disc pit appears as an ovoid depression of the optic nerve disc.
