Motion-Aware Optical Camera Communication With Event Cameras

open access: yesIEEE Robotics and Automation Letters
As the ubiquity of smart mobile devices continues to rise, Optical Camera Communication systems have gained more attention as a solution for efficient and private data streaming. This system utilizes optical cameras to receive data from digital screens via visible light. Despite their promise, most of them are hindered by dynamic factors such as screen

MIMO Architecture for Optical Camera Communications

open access: yesThe Journal of Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences, 2017
Compare with other communication system based RF technology, Optical Camera Communication (OCC) has limitation on data rate due to the low frame rate of camera. The limitation on data rate can be solved with multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technology; and it is the final target of all researches on OCC.

Asynchronous Scheme for Optical Camera Communication-Based Infrastructure-to-Vehicle Communication [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2015
This paper introduces infrastructure-to-vehicle (I2V) communication based on asynchronous optical camera communication (OCC), the transmitter of which can be an LED traffic light or electronic display, with the receiver being the existing front vehicle camera. In asynchronous OCC-based I2V communication, the key technique is an asynchronous scheme. An

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.
