Optical CDMA random access protocols [PDF]
The link layer of an optical direct-detection code-division-multiple access packet network is considered. Two of them need pretransmission coordination, whereas the third one does not. Both system throughput and average packet delay are derived and investigated for two different receiver models, namely the correlation and chip-level receivers.

Hiding Stealth Optical CDMA Signals in Public BPSK Channels for Optical Wireless Communication
A new optical steganography scheme is proposed that transmits a stealth optical code-division multiple-access (OCDMA) signal through a public binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) channel. Polarization beam splitters and arrayed waveguide gratings are used to

A novel top‐to‐bottom film restructuring strategy is applied to perovskite films, taking advantage of high penetration of vapor‐phase ligand. A gradient‐distributed 2D perovskite structure is built up from top surface to film bulk, meanwhile, inhomogeneity at the buried interface is mitigated, which leads to high quality perovskite films with improved ...

This work constructs a radio‐frequency front‐end‐free hybrid code‐division and space‐division‐multiplexing wireless communication system built on programmable space‐time‐coding metasurfaces. Orthogonal pseudo‐random codes reliably separate overlapped multistream signals that share identical frequency, time, and spatial resources.

2-D Optical-CDMA Modulation With Hard-Limiting for Automotive Time-of-Flight LiDAR
In this proof-of-principle paper, the application of 2-D optical code-division multiple-access (OCDMA) modulation to long-range automotive time-of-flight (ToF) light detection and ranging (LiDAR) is studied.

3D Indoor Positioning of UAVs with Spread Spectrum Ultrasound and Time-of-Flight Cameras
This work proposes the use of a hybrid acoustic and optical indoor positioning system for the accurate 3D positioning of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The acoustic module of this system is based on a Time-Code Division Multiple Access (T-CDMA) scheme,

Geometry‐Controlled Assembly of Self‐Standing Nanorods With Undisturbed Plasmonics
This study reports a geometry‐driven assembly strategy to vertically align Au@Ag core–shell nanorods on PS beads. This well‐defined architecture enables the preservation of the intrinsic optical response of individual nanorods. Thus, demonstrate a highly reproducible SERS enhancement with exceptional uniformity.

Fiber-optic CDMA networks incorporating multiple optical amplifiers [PDF]
We employ photon-counting techniques to analyze the performance of an all-optical fiber-optic code division multiple access (CDMA) network incorporating multiple optical amplifiers. Our analysis is based on obtaining characteristic functions indicating the photon-count of the output of a block of CDMA code pulse to its input count.

This review presents a unified structural classification for hybrid metal halides from 3D to 0D. It summarizes dimensional engineering strategies and dimension‐dependent structure–property relationships, offering a systematic framework to guide the design and development of high‐performance low‐dimensional optoelectronic materials.
