HANDBOOK OF OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2003This paper shows the technique of optical coherence tomography in the frequency domain Handbook of Optical Coherence Tomography, MarcelDekker. Simulation of polarized OCT signal is performed using vector approach V. V. Tuchin, Handbook of Coherent Domain Optical Methods: Biomedical Diagnostics. In a little over two decades, optical coherence tomography

Optical coherence tomography in otolaryngology
Orvosi Hetilap, 2011Optical coherence tomography is an imaging technique based on coherence interferometry. It is used in many medical fields due to its non-invasive imaging capabilities with micrometer resolution. The aim of the authors was to review the applicability of the optical coherence tomography in otolaryngology.

Optical Coherence Tomography for the Radiologist
Neuroimaging Clinics of North America, 2015Optical coherence tomography is an imaging technique using low coherence light sources to produce high-resolution cross-sectional images. This article reviews pertinent anatomy and various pathologies causing optic atrophy (eg, compressive, infiltrating, demyelinating) versus optic nerve swelling (from increased intracranial pressure known as ...

Optical Coherence Tomography for the Neurologist
Seminars in Neurology, 2015Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a relatively new technology that is now routinely and very widely used by ophthalmologists for structural documentation of the optic nerve and retina. In neuro-ophthalmology and neurology, the value of OCT is ever expanding; its role in an increasing number of conditions is being reported in parallel with the ...

Interferometer for optical coherence tomography
Applied Optics, 2003We describe a new interferometer setup for optical coherence tomography (OCT). The interferometer is based on a fiber arrangement similar to Young's two-pinhole interference experiment with spatial coherent and temporal incoherent light. Depth gating is achieved detection of the interference signal on a linear CCD array.
