Role of spatial coherence in polarization tomography [PDF]
We analyze an experimental setup in which a quasi-monochromatic spatially coherent beam of light is used to probe a paraxial optical scatterer. We discuss the effect of the spatial coherence of the probe beam on the Mueller matrix representing the scatterer.

Acousto-optical coherence tomography with a digital holographic detection scheme [PDF]
Acousto-optical coherence tomography (AOCT) consists in using random phase jumps on ultrasound and light to achieve a millimeter resolution when imaging thick scattering media. We combined this technique with heterodyne off-axis digital holography. Two-dimensional images of absorbing objects embedded in scattering phantoms are obtained with a good ...

En face optical coherence tomography: a technology review [Invited].
A review on the technological development of en face optical coherence tomography (OCT) and optical coherence microscopy (OCM) is provided. The terminology originally referred to time domain OCT, where the preferential scanning was performed in the en ...

Optical Tomography of Photon-Added Coherent States, Even/Odd Coherent States and Thermal States [PDF]
Explicit expressions for optical tomograms of the photon-added coherent states, even/odd photon-added coherent states and photon-added thermal states are given in terms of Hermite polynomials. Suggestions for experimental homodyne detection of the considered photon states are presented.

Mathematical Modelling of Optical Coherence Tomography
In this chapter a general mathematical model of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is presented on the basis of the electromagnetic theory. OCT produces high resolution images of the inner structure of biological tissues. Images are obtained by measuring

Effect of fibers and whole grain content on quality attributes of extruded cereals [PDF]
Incorporation of fiber in cereals may lead to quality issues, thus decreasing consumer acceptance. This is partially due to deterioration of the microstructure, one of the primary quality attributes of cereals.

Optical coherence tomography and scanning laser ophthalmoscopy: Approaches to dual-channel retinal tissue imaging [PDF]
We report a Talbot bands-based optical coherence tomography (OCT) system capable of producing longitudinal B-scan OCT images and en-face scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (SLO) images of the human retina in-vivo, with various degrees of ...
