Extraction of depth moments by exploiting the partial coherence of radiation [PDF]
We retrieve depth information (moments) of an object using partially coherent fields and defocus induced holographic contrast. Our analysis leads to a form of tomography that does not require sample or source rotation. The tomography method presented here is performed with only two in-line images.

Optical coherence tomography and Doppler optical coherence tomography in the gastrointestinal tract
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a noninvasive, high-resolution, high-potential imaging method that has recently been introduced into medical investigations. A growing number of studies have used this technique in the field of gastroenterology in order to assist classical analyses. Lately, 3D-imaging and Doppler capabilities have been developed in

Advances in optical coherence tomography in dermatology—a review
. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was introduced as an imaging system, but like ultrasonography, other measures, such as blood perfusion and polarization of light, have enabled the technology to approach clinical utility. This review aims at providing

Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography in Glaucoma
Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) comprises different OCT-based technologies developed for non-invasive assessment and measurement of optic nerve head and retinal perfusion. Currently the most clinically established approach is based on the

Blind dispersion compensation for optical coherence tomography [PDF]
We propose a numerical method for compensating dispersion effects in optical coherence tomography that does not require a priori knowledge of dispersive properties of the sample. The method is based on the generalized autoconvolution function, and its principle of operation can be intuitively visualized using the Wigner distribution function formalism.

Complete Two-dimensional Muellermetric Imaging of Biological Tissue Using Heterodyned Optical Coherence Tomography [PDF]
A polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography system based on heterodyning and filtering techniques is built to perform Stokesmetric imaging of different layers of depths in a porcine tendon sample. The complete 4\times4 backscattering Muellermetric images of one layer are acquired using such a system.

Instantaneous quadrature low-coherence interferometry with 3x3 fiber-optic couplers [PDF]
We describe fiber-based quadrature low-coherence interferometers that exploit the inherent phase shifts of 3 x 3 and higher-order fiber-optic couplers. We present a framework based on conservation of energy to account for the interferometric shifts in 3 ...
