Feedback control of probability amplitudes for two-level atom in optical field [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Communications 281 (2008) 640 - 643, 2007
We demonstrate the possibility to stabilize the probability amplitude of the upper level for a single quantum two-level atom in a classical optical field with feedback control scheme.

Microwave Photonics Parallel Quantum Key Distribution

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2012
The incorporation of multiplexing techniques used in microwave photonics to quantum key distribution (QKD) systems brings important advantages by enabling the simultaneous and parallel delivery of multiple keys between a central station and different end-

The cytoskeletal control of B cell receptor and integrin signaling in normal B cells and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In lymphoid organs, antigen recognition and B cell receptor signaling rely on integrins and the cytoskeleton. Integrins act as mechanoreceptors, couple B cell receptor activation to cytoskeletal remodeling, and support immune synapse formation as well as antigen extraction.

Ultrastable Long-Haul Fiber-Optic Radio Frequency Transfer Based on Dual-PLL

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2021
In this paper, we demonstrate ultrastable radio-frequency (RF) transfer over long-haul optical fiber link. Our stabilized RF transfer technique is based on high-performance dual phase locked loops (dual-PLL) configuration which improves signal to noise ...

Interaction vesicles as emerging mediators of host‐pathogen molecular crosstalk and their implications for infection dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Interaction extracellular vesicles (iEVs) are hybrid vesicles formed through host‐pathogen communication. They facilitate immune evasion, transfer pathogens' molecules, increase host cell uptake, and enhance virulence. This Perspective article illustrates the multifunctional roles of iEVs and highlights their emerging relevance in infection dynamics ...

High-Precision Measurement of Brillouin Frequency Shift in Brillouin Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer Based on Half-Peak Fitting Algorithm of Power Spectrum

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
The Brillouin optical time-domain reflectometer (BOTDR) system, which is based on the Brillouin frequency shift (BFS) of the scattering spectrum, has been widely applied to monitor the temperature and strain in many fields.

Addressing persistent challenges in digital image analysis of cancer tissue: resources developed from a hackathon

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon

Comparative single‐cell transcriptomic profiling of patient‐derived renal carcinoma cells in cellular and animal models of kidney cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We generated and characterized clear cell renal cell carcinoma models using the patient‐derived RCC243 cell line—including cell culture, orthotopic, and metastatic tumors—via single‐cell RNA‐sequencing for comparisons between models and patient tumor datasets.
