Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations, 2009
Optical imaging is useful during preclinical drug development for monitoring biomarkers and molecular events in living tissue. In animal models, the technology has been used to monitor tumor growth and metastasis, determine biological effects of novel drugs, monitor tumor enzyme activity, and examine host-tumor interactions.

Optical techniques for image compression
Data Compression Conference, 1992., 1992Optical computing has recently become a very active research field. The advantage of optics is its capability of providing highly parallel operations in a three dimensional space. The authors propose optical architectures to execute various image compression techniques.

Optical Architectures for Compressive Imaging
Frontiers in Optics, 2006We compare three optical architectures for compressive imaging: sequential, parallel, and photon sharing. Each of these architectures is analyzed using two different types of projection: (a) principal component projections and (b) pseudo-random projections. Both linear and nonlinear reconstruction methods are studied.

Image Reconstruction of an Emerging Optical Imager
2019The emerging optical imager can reduce the system weight, size and power consumption by an order of magnitude compared to conventional optical telescopes at the same resolution. It utilizes Fourier-domain interferometry and samples by radial scheme. To date, there is little research on efficient image reconstruction algorithm of it.

Optical Imaging of the Optic Nerve
Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology, 2015Although we are still early in the evolution of optical imaging of the optic nerve, the available techniques already play an important role in clinical decision making. I would summarize our findings to date as follows: For acute ON: Presentation: OCT shows RNFL swelling, normal GCL + IPL by OCT; 1 month: OCT and SLP show RNFL thinning and swelling ...
