Optical interconnection of optical modules
SPIE Proceedings, 1990ABSTRACT' The purpose of this paper is to explore the use and misuse of nonlinear optics as a way of connecting complex optical modules. For applications, such as neural networks, that need large numbers of interconnections and have numerous stages, the optical to optical interconnect is attractive.
