Wireless optically pumped magnetometer MEG
The current magnetoencephalography (MEG) systems, which rely on cables for control and signal transmission, do not fully realize the potential of wearable optically pumped magnetometers (OPM). This study presents a significant advancement in wireless OPM-MEG by reducing magnetization in the electronics and developing a tailored wireless communication ...

Atomic‐Scale Light Coupling Control in Ultrathin Photonic Membranes
Ultrathin photonic nanomembranes provide atomic‐scale control over the coupling between incident light and high‐Q photonic modes, enabling angstrom‐level resonance tuning and strong field confinement. When integrated with TMD monolayers, they further yield enhanced light–matter interactions, offering a versatile platform for advancing quantum photonics,

Quantum simulation of spin ordering with nuclear spins in a solid state lattice
An experiment demonstrating the quantum simulation of a spin-lattice Hamiltonian is proposed. Dipolar interactions between nuclear spins in a solid state lattice can be modulated by rapid radio-frequency pulses.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Optical vortex pumped mid-infrared optical parametric oscillator
The first demonstration of a mid-infrared optical parametric oscillator pumped by 1-μm optical vortex pulses is presented. A 0.5-mJ 2-μm fractional vortex pulse having half-integer topological charge is generated. Using this system, 0.24-mJ vortex pulses with a topological charge of 1 can be created.

Optically enhanced production of metastable xenon
Metastable states of noble gas atoms are typically produced by electrical discharge techniques or "all-optical" excitation methods. Here we combine electrical discharges with optical pumping to demonstrate "optically enhanced" production of metastable ...
