Schooling Trajectories and the Development of Brain Dynamics: A Comparative Study of Montessori and Traditional Education

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

MGDP: Mastering a Generalized Depth Perception Model for Quadruped Locomotion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Perception‐based Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) controllers demonstrate impressive performance on challenging terrains. However, existing controllers still face core limitations, struggling to achieve both terrain generality and platform transferability, and are constrained by high computational overhead and sensitivity to sensor noise.

Innovative observing strategy and orbit determination for Low Earth Orbit Space Debris

open access: yes, 2011
We present the results of a large scale simulation, reproducing the behavior of a data center for the build-up and maintenance of a complete catalog of space debris in the upper part of the low Earth orbits region (LEO).

A Scalable BaTiO3 Nanocoating Strategy for Cost‐Effective and Stable Sulfide‐Based All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rapid and scalable 10 min BaTiO3 (BTO) nanocoating uniformly encapsulates Li‐P‐S‐X sulfide electrolytes, serving as a dielectric “shield” that enhances air stability, reduces cost, and mitigates interfacial degradation. This multifunctional coating enables fast‐charging, durable all‐solid‐state batteries with ultralong cycling stability (>10 000 ...

Clutter free synthetic aperture radar correlator [PDF]

open access: yes, 1977
A synthetic aperture radar correlation system including a moving diffuser located at the image plane of a radar processor is described. The output of the moving diffuser is supplied to a lens whose impulse response is at least as wide as that of the ...

Precise Tailoring 3D Printed In Situ Toughening Low‐k Microwave Transparent Structure via Thiol‐acrylate Chain Transfer Behavior

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An in situ thiol–acrylate chain transfer‐mediated toughening strategy is introduced for Digital Light Processing (DLP) printing. Benefiting from its excellent printability, a printed gyroid lattice‐filled plate (100 µm wall thickness) achieves 92% transmittance at 10 GHz under a 50° incidence angle following structural optimization. ABSTRACT The unique

Application of convolutional neural networks trained on optical images for object detection in radar images

open access: yesКомпьютерная оптика
Due to the small number of annotated radar image datasets, the use of optical images for training neural networks designed to detect objects in radar images seems promising.
