Resonance characteristics of fiber optic ring resonator in fiber optical resonator gyroscope

In this paper, based on the typical example of fiber optical ring resonator which is constructed by connecting single mode fiber depend on fiber optic directional coupler, the resonance depth and finesse are discussed and their equation are derived too. Furthermore, the optimal resonance term are given and illustrated clearly in some curves.

Resonance optical activity in multihelicoidal optical fibers

A complete and detailed treatment of a three-level atom interacting with two near-resonant monochromatic fields is presented. It is assumed that the only damping mechanism is radiative damping, and that the atoms all have the same resonance frequencies, as is the case in an atomic beam.

We analyze the image quality of resonant holographic imaging systems. We show that Gaussian apodization, implemented with a Hermite-Gaussian reference beams inside a confocal cavity greatly improves image quality.

Quantum Optical Resonance

Jaynes-Cummings model of quantum optical resonance is investigated using Tomonaga-Schwinger formalism and without using the rotating wave approximation. Detailed study of the fluctuations in the initial number state and coherent state is made as a function of the interaction strength, frequency detuning and the initial conditions.
