Topological dragging of solitons
We put forward properties of solitons supported by optical lattices featuring topological dislocations, and show that solitons experience attractive and repulsive forces around the dislocations.

Frontier Advances of Emerging High‐Entropy Anodes in Alkali Metal‐Ion Batteries
Recent advances in microscopic morphology control of high‐entropy anode materials for alkali metal‐ion batteries. Abstract With the growing demand for sustainable energy, portable energy storage systems have become increasingly critical. Among them, the development of rechargeable batteries is primarily driven by breakthroughs in electrode materials ...

We describe the fabrication of 3D polymeric waveguide architectures with tunability of waveguide diameter, lattice symmetry and long and short‐range order using an inexpensive (< $400 CAD) digital light projector. We demonstrate that Projector induced Waveguide Encoded Lattices (ProWELs) possess advanced functionality including tuneable Fields of View (

Generation and stability of discrete gap solitons
We analyze stability and generation of discrete gap solitons in weakly coupled optical waveguides. We demonstrate how both stable and unstable solitons can be observed experimentally in the engineered binary waveguide arrays, and also reveal a connection

Breathing dissipative solitons in optical microresonators
Dissipative solitons are self-localized structures resulting from a double balance between dispersion and nonlinearity as well as dissipation and a driving force.

Walking vector soliton caging and releasing
We address the formation and propagation of vector solitons in optical lattices in the presence of anisotropy-induced walk-off between ordinary and extraordinary polarized field components.
