Optical correlation diagnostics of turbulence

Application of the optical correlation method to the studies of structure characteristics of turbulence is considered. The structure function D E ((rho) ) of the dielectric constant is determined by measuring the boundary field transverse coherence function. The experimental results obtained are shown to agree well with the theory.
