Orbital Angular Momentum Holography Using Neural Network and Camera in the Loop

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Neural network and optimization‐based approaches are introduced for Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) multiplexed holography, enabling high‐capacity, phase‐only image reconstruction. A Camera‐In‐The‐Loop (CITL) system learns a realistic propagation model to correct system imperfections.

Diverging Surface Plasmon Polaritons for Single Upconverting Nanoparticle Imaging

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Diverging surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) are coupled to a gold surface by a grating to excite upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) immobilized on the surface. By combining the SPP field enhancement and diverging SPP mode propagation, the detection of individual UCNPs over a large area is possible.

Fabrication of Multifunctional Nanofiber Mats by Emulsion Electrospinning of TPU/Fish Skin Gelatin Incorporating Plant Extract‐Based Therapeutic Oil for Wound Dressing Applications

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
This study not only combines TPU with fish skin gelatin (FSG) and H. perforatum oil (HPO) through emulsion electrospinning for the first time, but also reduces the TPU fiber diameter, which is crucial for enhancing wound healing. Overall results indicate that this combination can enhance wound healing and antimicrobial efficancy, making the resulting ...

Microrheology with optical tweezers

Lab on a Chip, 2009
Microrheology is the study of the flow of materials over small scales. It is of particular interest to those involved with investigations of fluid properties within Lab-on-a-Chip structures or within other micron-scale environments. The article briefly reviews existing active and passive methods used in the study of fluids.
