2D Wide Field-of-View (FOV) Metalens Focal Plane Array (FPA) based Silicon Photonic Beam Steering for Optical Wireless Communication (OWC)

We demonstrate a 2D silicon-photonic beam steerer based on a metalens focal plane array with a field-of-view of 51.4°×6.12°. Data rates of 75.83-Gbit/s and 70.34-Gbit/s at center and side channels, respectively, are achieved.
