Information Security Risks Outside the Laser Beam in Terrestrial Free-Space Optical Communication
Consider a terrestrial free-space optical (FSO) communication system with a potential eavesdropper outside the laser beam who can capture the information through a non-line-of-sight scattering channel.

Non-Line-of-Sight Ultraviolet Positioning via Time Difference of Arrival
For challenging environments where conventional line-of-sight (LOS) systems are not available, we propose a novel non-line-of-sight (NLOS) ultraviolet (UV) positioning system based on time difference of arrival (TDOA).

This work reveals a “Photovoltaic‐Capacitance” coupling mechanism in stacked Ga2O3/ZnO devices, defining the ZnO/graphene interface as a novel Photovoltaic Dynamic‐Capacitor (PDC). The wavelength‐selective bipolar response enables a physical layer secure communication protocol based on ternary optical logic (“1,” “0,” “−1”).

A Novel Multilevel Conceptual Framework for Flood Risk Governance
ABSTRACT Globally, flood risk is increasing as climate change progresses. Contemporary flood risk management practice often utilises hydrodynamic modelling (for hazard risk assessments), social vulnerability assessments, and risk communications in silo, which fragments evidence‐based decision‐making for effective flood risk management. We hence develop
