Optically stimulated luminescence from BeO ceramics: An LM-OSL study

open access: yesRadiation Measurements, 2010
Abstract Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) signals of BeO ceramics were investigated using continuous wave (CW) OSL and Linearly Modulated (LM) OSL. It was found that both curves can be approximated using a linear combination of two first-order components.

The role of heat treatment in improving photoluminescence and optically stimulated luminescence of HfO2 [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2022
HfO2 is a metal oxide from the IV-B family whose properties have been widely applied in electronics and which displays an important blue emission. Despite this fact, few studies have been dedicated to understanding the role of heat treatment on its ...

Potential and limits of OSL, TT-OSL, IRSL and pIRIR290 dating methods applied on a Middle Pleistocene sediment record of Lake El'gygytgyn, Russia [PDF]

open access: yesClimate of the Past, 2013
This study tests the paleomagnetic and proxy-data based Mid- to Upper Pleistocene sediment deposition history of Lake El'gygytgyn by applying different approaches of luminescence dating techniques on sediment cores taken from the centre of the 175 m deep

Optically stimulated luminescence properties of Tl-doped NH4Cl transparent ceramics fabricated by SPS method

open access: yesJournal of Asian Ceramic Societies, 2021
We fabricated Tl-doped NH4Cl transparent ceramics using SPS method with varying Tl concentrations (0%, 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1%) and evaluated the properties of photoluminescence (PL), radioluminescence (RL), and optically stimulated luminescence

Thermally assisted IRSL and VSL measurements of display glass from mobile phones for retrospective dosimetry

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology, 2022
Investigations of retrospective dosimetry have shown that components of mobile phones are suitable as emergency dosimeters in case of radiological incidents. For physical dosimetry, components can be read out using optically stimulated luminescence (OSL),
