Optically stimulated luminescence from BeO ceramics: An LM-OSL study
Abstract Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) signals of BeO ceramics were investigated using continuous wave (CW) OSL and Linearly Modulated (LM) OSL. It was found that both curves can be approximated using a linear combination of two first-order components.

Optically stimulated luminescence of alexandrite
We report the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) of natural alexandrite (BeAl2O4:Cr3+) from Brazil. Luminescence was stimulated using 470 nm blue, 525 nm green and 850 nm infrared light.

Characterization, commissioning, and clinical evaluation of a commercial BeO optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) system. [PDF]
AbstractThis article investigates the performance of a commercial BeO optically stimulated luminescent (OSL) dosimetry system (myOSLchip, RadPro GmbH International, Remscheid, Germany) through the application of the commissioning framework for luminescent dosimeters as described in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Task Group 191 (AAPM

Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) of dental enamel for retrospective assessment of radiation exposure. [PDF]
This paper briefly reviews the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) properties of dental enamel and discusses the potential and challenges of OSL for filling the technology gap in biodosimetry required for medical triage following a radiological/nuclear accident or terrorist event.

Thermally Assisted Optically Stimulated Luminescence (TA-OSL) from Commercial BeO Dosimeters
BeO is another luminescent phosphor with very deep traps (VDTs) in its matrix that could not be stimulated using either thermal or conventional optical stimulations. The present study attempts to stimulate these traps using thermally assisted optically stimulated luminescence (TA-OSL), a combination of simultaneous thermal and optical stimulation that ...
