Polymer Network Modified Perovskite for High‐Performance Pure Blue Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A polymer network of poly(4‐vinylphenol) (PVPh) is introduced to improve pure blue perovskite light‐emitting diodes. PVPh effectively passivates defects, enhances film morphology, reduces lattice strain, and suppresses ion migration. These effects lead to record device performance, achieving 9.82% external quantum efficiency and stable blue emission at

Matching estimators and optimal bandwidth choice [PDF]

open access: yesStatistics and Computing, 2005
Optimal bandwidth choice for matching estimators and their finite sample properties are examined. An approximation to their MSE is derived, as a basis for a plug-in bandwidth selector. In small samples, this approximation is not very accurate, though.

Understanding the Effects of Conductive Polymer Electrode Coating on Recorded Neural Signals

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Conductive polymer coatings are widely explored to improve the quality of signals recorded with chronically implanted neural electrodes, offering enhanced biocompatibility along with reduced electrode impedance. Combining computational modelling and data from PEDOT:PTS coated and PtIr electrodes in rats, we show that improvements in signal quality with

On parameter estimation for locally stationary long-memory processes [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider parameter estimation for time-dependent locally stationary long-memory processes. The asymptotic distribution of an estimator based on the local infinite autoregressive representation is derived, and asymptotic formulas for the mean squared ...

Mapping Nanoscale Protein‐Corona Kinetics of DoE‐Optimized Perfluorocarbon Encapsulated‐PLGA Nanoparticles by In Situ, Time‐Resolved Synchrotron SAXS

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Optimal Linear Arrays for Wide Bandwidths [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1994
New technology has enabled modern aperture synthesis instruments to employ increasingly larger bandwidths. Large bandwidths can be exploited to enable a more complete coverage in the (u, v) plane and hence aid image reconstruction. This relies on the source having a structure that is invariant with observing frequency or a suitable image reconstruction

Real‐Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging with an Ultra‐Sparse, Low Power Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.

Improved spectrum sharing model in cognitive radios based on game theory

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2010
An improved spectrum sharing model was proposed in cognitive radios. The improved model considers com-prehensively impact on the primary users’ profits by all secondary users’ bandwidth requirement, and impact on every secondary user’s profit by other ...

Optimal Sensor Communications in Presence of Transmission Delays and Bandwidth Limitations

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2017
In a distributed sensor (and actuator) network, several sensors may be lumped to a single transmitter or communicate via a remote terminal unit.
