Optimal Power Allocation in Spatial Modulation Systems

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2017
In spatial modulation (SM) systems, when channel state information is available at the transmitter, adaptive power allocation can be exploited to enhance the SM performance. In this paper, optimal power allocation in SM systems is considered from an information-theoretical view.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Lossy network correlated data gathering with high-resolution coding [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Sensor networks measuring correlated data are considered, where the task is to gather data from the network nodes to a sink. A specific scenario is addressed, where data at nodes are lossy coded with high-resolution, and the information measured by the ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Optimal Decoding Order and Power Allocation for Sum Throughput Maximization in Downlink NOMA Systems

open access: yesEntropy
In this paper, we consider a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system over Nakagami-m channels. The single-antenna base station serves two single-antenna NOMA users based on statistical channel state information (CSI).

Relay Protocol applied to Optimal Power Allocation

open access: yesThe Journal of The Institute of Internet, Broadcasting and Communication, 2015
In this Paper, we proposed optimization of system performance, optimal splitting factor applied to power splitting protocol with relay in the cooperative communication undergo co-channel interference. We can possible to optimize and maximize the channel capacity of the receiver through optimal factor of splitting protocol. So, we can solve inability in

Optimal resource allocation in wireless-powered OFDM relay networks [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Networks, 2016
This paper studies resource allocation in wireless-powered orthogonal-frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) amplify-and-forward (AF) or decode-and-forward (DF) relay networks with time-switching (TS) based relaying. Our objective is to maximize end-to-end achievable rates by optimizing TS ratios of energy transfer (ET) and information transmission (IT)

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

KLK7 overexpression promotes an aggressive phenotype and facilitates peritoneal dissemination in colorectal cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

High Speed Railway Wireless Communications: Efficiency v.s. Fairness

open access: yes, 2014
High speed railways (HSRs) have been deployed widely all over the world in recent years. Different from traditional cellular communication, its high mobility makes it essential to implement power allocation along the time.
